Canal Community Liaison Officer

The Waterways Trust Scotland has appointed Steven Cole to encourage more people to make use of the Forth & Clyde Canal in Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire and its surrounding environment.

Based in Glasgow, Steven is working with people along the route of the Forth & Clyde Canal, from Glasgow City to Bowling Harbour, to establish the waterway as a community resource and a catalyst for social and economic regeneration.

Through talks, activity and environmental projects Steven is encouraging people young and old to value and care for the canal and use it to improve their lifestyle.
