The fifth annual Rochdale Canal Festival took place from 13th-28th August 2011.

Canoe taster sessions, underground walks, a masquerade, wild food forages, a lantern parade and guided bike rides helped people in Calderdale, Rochdale, Oldham and Manchester discover and enjoy the historic canal.

The two-week long festival culminated with a Festival Finale at Failsworth Basin, Oldham on 28th August.
