Small Grants Scheme

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, each year The Waterways Trust is able to distribute a number of grants, usually up to a maximum of £1,000 each, to community-led environmental, access, education and activity projects taking place along the UK's waterways. Below are just a few of the projects that have benefited from funding from the Trust's Small Grant Scheme and Thames Appeal over the past few years.

Our 2010 programme is now closed for applications. Information for the 2011 programme (General and Thames) will be available from December 2010.
