Robbers Den, Crinan Canal
With funding from The Waterways Trust's Small Grants Scheme, the Dalriada Project in Mid Argyll has been able to undertake essential conservation work at Robber's Den, a derelict wooded area alongside the Crinan Canal.
A path through the Robber's Den deciduous woodland to Cam Loch has been created and bridges installed to enable access to the natural ancient woodland and the canal.
The Dalriada Project is helping to improve access to the heritage of the Kilmartin Glen, Crinan Canal and Knapdale Forest in Mid Argyll. The partnership's aim is to improve public understanding of the heritage value of the area.
