Where do you volunteer? At Ellesmere Port with the Waterways Action Squad

What do you do? Loads of things, I've done some conservation work, took part in a residential event, help out in the office. I'm now a Waterways Ambassador.

Why did you become a volunteer? To become more confident, work with other people, help get views and opinions across. I've learned lots of new skills, my communication skills have got much better and I'm much more independent now.

Best thing about being a volunteer? Being a Waterways Ambassador, it is a really important job, listening to other people, making sure their opinions are heard and sharing ideas with others.
