Where do you volunteer? The National Waterways Museum

What do you do? I help restore the boat engines

Why did you become a volunteer? I am an engineer and when I retired I wanted to carry on using my knowledge and experience. I love boats and canals and this is an engineer's heaven. I get to strip and engine back, make repairs then completely re-build and paint it.

Best thing about volunteering? I love coming here, I've got my love of engineering back.
