Education and Youth Volunteering Assistant

National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port

A fantastic opportunity if you want to get into education or youth work.

One of the many benefits for our young volunteers is the chance to gain accreditation and recognition for their work. We need you to help us make this happen.

Working alongside our volunteer coordinator and volunteer leader, you will help deliver programmes such as the John Muir Award and the Youth Achievement Awards as well as offering guidance on the v50 and vImpact.

Tasks include:

  • planning and delivering goal/target setting
  • collecting evidence
  • assessing or verifying portfolios and record of hours
  • issuing certificates.

This opportunity is provided by the Waterways Action Squad. To volunteer you must be between 16 and 25 years of age. Get in touch to find out more.
