Roger Hanbury, Chief Executive
Roger has 30 years' experience in managing waterways for social economic and environmental benefit.
He is the first CEO of The Waterways Trust (appointed Feb 2000). Previous to that he was the chief environmental scientist for British Waterways and was also the President of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management 2001/2002.
Alan Luttman, Director of Finance & Administration
Alan joined the Trust as Director of Finance & Administration in January 2004. The role covers all financial functions, IT and the Company Secretary's role.
Prior to joining the Trust Alan held senior financial positions in the electricity supply industry and the further education sector. Alan is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
Stuart Gillis, Museum Director
Stuart joined the Trust in April 2008. Responsible for developing the strategic direction of the National Waterways Museum and Archives, Stuart also oversees the day-to-day management of the museums and is responsible for conserving the nationally important inland waterways collection.
Stuart has worked in the museum sector since the 1990s and was previously Manager at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, the Museum of Norfolk Life.
