Volunteering
New for 2012!
We are looking for outstanding waterway-based projects that
fully embrace volunteer engagement and participation. We take a
broad definition of volunteer to include anyone who is involved
without payment.
When entering this category, you should explain why and how your
project demonstrates excellence in volunteering, the key
outcomes for the volunteers and the organisations involved, and the
wider benefits of the project.
You should also illustrate how volunteers have been involved in
the in the development of the project and how the experience of the
project has influenced wider volunteering opportunities or best
practice.
