General award criteria
All entries must be able to demonstrate that they:
- are located on, or immediately adjacent to, an inland waterway
in the UK
- are innovative and inspirational
- have involved active participation of by an appropriate range
of partners
- have enriched the use and enjoyment of the waterway
- have a proven track record of success
In addition, all nominatinos must be able to show:
- how the environmental, social and economic objectives of
sustainable development have been met
- how the project is providing the catalyst for other projects or
schemes.
