informal drop-ins etc)
- respond to local needs and contribute to raising community
spirit
- ensure they are accountable to the local community (i.e.
evaluations, resident boards etc)
- build the capacity of local people to determine their own lives
(i.e. skills training, mentoring of residents to become community
leaders, expanding job opportunities etc)
